121 Coalition and Evelina: Coming to BAY AREA PINOY COMMUNITIES!



121 Coalition and I are coming out to the West Coast to see the Bay Area Pinoy communities and other Asian American communities from May 15-18th. We're hitting the streets to build alliances for House Resolution 121. LABAN! Fight for Comfort Women comes to you with the help of many of my sisters in the Bay Area: Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales, Claudine delRosario, Barbara Jane Reyes Bermeo, Marianne Villanueva and Pearl Ubungen. We are sponsored by 121 Coalition.

Above is the Pinay Educational Partnerships, just one of several groups we're heading out to visit. We're hitting the streets, word warriors for the lolas.

It's an important time for the FIL AM community to write letters supporting House Res 121 to their congress members. We need to make a presence and express our values: We defend human rights and we defend our women's right to safe living.
